What more would you like to learn?

So far, I learned so many things on computer,
and I was surprised Microsoft Word has a lot of useful functions
that I did not know. Moreover, I found that making a web page is
not so difficult than I thought when I was a junior high school student.
I wanted my own web site at the time, but I didn’t make one because
I thought it is too difficult to do it by using some strange codes such as
html, , and so on. However, they were not so difficult than
I thought, either, so I want to learn Excel I know about just a little.
Although I know a little about it there are so many functions I have not
known yet, so I would like to learn it.
It is not what I would like to learn, but I want to be a master of
Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel because I am sure that they will be
very useful for future job. The skill on computer is required for jobs today.
I also want to learn fun stuff like games.

Viral Video!!

I have no idea what viral video is…
But I thought it is something related to Virus!!
“viral,” “viral,” “virul,” “virus!!”.
The sounds of viral and virus are similar tome…
That means my ears are still for Japanese…My ears are not
working for English!! That is too bad.
Anyway…I thought that viral video is the video with virus or
the video that protect computers.
I researched about the term.
One explanation said that it is video clip content that
spread widely through e-mail, blog, website, and so on.
For example, there are YouTube, Broadcaster, Google video in
group of viral video.
I really appreciate viral videos that contain a lot of music videos because
that is the only way that I can listen to music!!
The mentos and coke video was great, so I can do that after I go back to my village because there must be broad area to do it!!

I would buy a new digital camera for my family
because the camera I bought five years ago is useless.
Its buttery dies so quickly, and it can work for 20 minutes or so
continuously. Moreover, my family does not like to be taken pictures.
Only I like pictures, so I want to leave great family memories
as a shape. I want to take dairy pictures of my family life.
I would buy an ipod for my friend’s birthday if I have enough money
because she loves music very much, but she does not have music player
she can carry with her. For that reason, she has so many MDs in her room, and she does not have enough room for them anymore. However, it is impossible for me!!
I think I can buy one for me because I do not have any music player
at home. Besides, I do not have a cell phone with music player. The only means I listen to music is PC!! Poor me…

Net Neutrality

Net Neutrality means “Network should be neutral among any users and application.”

There is a idea that provider can discriminate the treatment of correspondence by users, applications, and additional charge.

It would be a big problem for the companies that offer various services on the Internet that providers exclude or discriminate particular companies’correspondence of service.
For example, when a provider offers application services (like movie, IP telephone etc) by the provider itself, the provider cannot make only its correspondence connect easily. If it did, other companies would take a bad knock.

Then, Google and other companies created net Neutrality, and tried to prevent that providers start doing it in advance. It is based on the thought “Internet treat any users and any applications equally, equality of use.”Therefore, there is no way to break this rule (Nikkei Business Publications, Inc, 2007).

I searched information about this topic, but there is no explanation I can understand but this one.

I found the news about Windows vista.
It reported that pirate editions of Windows vista was made in Malaysia.
Malaysia police department executed exposures of computer retail stores, which
were selling the pirate editions.

The copy rate of software is 28% in Japan. This is the same number to last year.
The highest rate is 90%. It is in Vietnam.
The lowest rate is U.S.A’s 21%.
I felt that U.S.A is very strict about like pirate edition or plagiarism after all.

Skype released “Skype 3.1 for Windows” βedition on Feb 21st. The new function, SkypeFind was added this time. Using this function, you can recommend your favorite shops to another skype users, and you can write in your comment about the stores.
Moreover, the new function that indicates that someone to chat on a computer is typing a message to you was added. It is called “Typing indicator”.

I do not know much about websites, and I do not know useful websites.

The websites I always visit are You tube and social network site mixi!!

HAHA!!

I thought social engineering is some kind of job
that fix something like computers at first.
And I imaged it is way difficult for me to understand,
so I didn’t even want to know about it.
I researched about social engineering a little,
but it was difficult anyway…
A Japanese website said that social engineering is the study
that synthesizes a lot of specialty fields that bring social structures and
social activities. I understand social engineering is about environment,
and I saw some lists about the studies of social engineering.
However, I could only understand the study of biomass fuel.
Some website said social engineering is solving the social problems technologicaly.
Now, I understand only one part of social engineering.
I am interested in social problems especially environment, but I found myself know nothing about it.

what do you know about Mac?

As I learned in the last computer class, Mac is strong against viruses.
The customer support is very high quality.
Mac is easy to use, and its design is great. It is symple but it's owesome to me!!!
Icons are cute, and Mac strain for movement of everything.
I researched on the internet, and I got some information.
I did not know anything about Mac, besides I did not even think of buying Apple Computer when I decided get a laptop for myself.
If I have Mac, I make a photo album, a slide show, a long movie, a music CD, a DVD, website, and music video easily without buying another software.
I can edit the movie with imovie.
Mac can be used as Windows, so Mac is Mac. Mac is also Windows.
Mac is not only for work but also for enjoyment of life.

I want to learn how to create my home page.
I am not good at using a computer and my image of computer is very difficult,
Studing computer by myself is hard, so I want to learn it at NIC.
I want to learn how to burn music on a CD.
I want to learn about computer virus just in case.
I want to learn how to use computer easier like what I am learning in computer class now.
I want to know about the useful websites.
I want to learn about skype more for communicating with my mom and with my host family.
I want to learn to learn how to edit photos and pictures on the computer.
I want to learn how to chat with others like foreigners on the computer.
And I want to search on the computer efficiently because I found the way of search with "Quotation mark", and I was shocked !! I did not know it although I have used internet for 10 years!!SHOOOOOOCK!!
